  • Tim Petke

    Co-Owner & Head Instructor

    Tim was the ‘98 Gatorade Player of the Year for Oregon and ranked among the Top 100 high school prospects. He started his college baseball career at USC on an almost full scholarship before transferring to Lewis-Clark State College (L-C State) in Idaho, where he played under the renowned Coach Ed Cheff. During his time at L-C State, he helped the team win two NAIA national championships.

    After college, Tim signed with the Los Angeles Angels and played three years of professional baseball. Following his pro career, he became the pitching coach at Lewis and Clark College in Portland for three years, where he notably helped reduce the staff's ERA by two runs in his first season.

    With over 15 years of experience, Tim has dedicated his time to coaching individuals and small groups, helping players improve their skills and realize their potential.

  • Taylor Hill

    Co-Owner & Director of Operations

    Taylor grew up playing baseball in Sherwood, Oregon, and quickly made a name for himself in high school. He was honored as NWOC Pitcher of the Year, 5A 1st Team All-State Pitcher, 1st Team All-Conference Pitcher and Utility Player, and earned a spot on the Class 5A Metro All-State Team. He also led his team to the 2006 Class 3A State Championship Game.

    In college, Taylor began his pitching career as a freshman starter at Grand Canyon University in 2008. He then transferred to Clackamas Community College on a full-ride scholarship, where he pitched and played infield from 2009-2010, helping lead the team to its first NWAACC playoff appearance in decades. His outstanding performances earned him multiple awards, including 1st Team All-Conference Relief Pitcher (2009), 1st Team All-Conference Starting Pitcher (2010), Southern Division Gold Glove Pitcher (2009 & 2010), All-NWAACC Gold Glove Pitcher (2009 & 2010), and All-Pacific Association Rawlings Gold Glove Pitcher for Washington, Oregon, and California (2009 & 2010).

    In 2011, Taylor accepted a partial scholarship to pitch at Hawaii Pacific University, and in 2012, he returned home to finish his collegiate career, pitching for the George Fox Bruins under Coaches Marty Hunter, Randy Rutschman, Brandon Rupp and Kevin Kopple.

    After college in 2013, Taylor began his coaching career as the Head Coach for the Sherwood Senior Federal Baseball team from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, he transitioned to working as an Assistant Coach (2015) and Varsity Pitching coach (2016-2017), during which he had the privilege of coaching future #1 draft pick Adley Rutschman. In 2019, Taylor returned to lead the Sherwood Senior Federal baseball team, guiding them to a State Championship victory. He coached his final season with the team in 2022 before being "promoted" to the role of T-Ball coach for his daughter.
